Ok M4G1C is gonna be my main focus on home over the summer, and if it works out it’ll be around as long as you guys want it. At it’s heart is the goal of having fun, metting new people and reinforcing a sense of community focused on the things we have in home not the things we dont 

Events:

I’m open to suggestions and i have a few ideas of my own. There will be events for everyone from themed parties, quiz nights, Avatar Costume based competitions, and i’ll be seeing if i can hit up a few of my old contacts in the games industry to see if i can get a few prizes here and there for promotions, but i’ve been away from the press end of things for a while so i cant promise anything, but who knows  Events will have music streamed to all from Radio M4G1C whih i’m getting to next

Radio M4G1C

Playing music over headsets has been the custom music of home since the beginning, but it has it’s flaws, you have to hold R2, you have to release and repress R2 every 45 seconds so you cant even use a rubber band or something else to keep the R2 button pressed while you interact with your party. And shortly after home went public they removed use of the mic in public spaces… so parties went underground  Radio M4G1C is a shoutcast station broadcasting over the internet and is accessible by anyone with a web browser. It does not stream directly into home unfortunately but we cant have everything  what it does have is the ability to support 1000 listeners at 128kbps (CD quality) the address for the station is http://www.m3rl1n.com/radio and when there you’ll see something like this:

Radio M4G1C will play all types of music and i will of course take requests and if i’m available i might even broadcast for other non M4G1C events…

The M4G1C Clubhouse

Now every good club needs a good clubhouse which i’ll get to in a minute, but membership of Club M4G1C does have some rules, they are

1. You have to be sociable, friendly and willing to meet new people

Ok so there’s only really one rule  There will be a few reserved slots for regular members, other slots will be cleard to make space for guests at events being held in the clubhouse. Membership is not permanent so if you’re no longer on the list it’s not because we dont like you 

Club M4G1C is not another one of these Elite Clubs where you have to have so many platinums or must own a mic, or must have this, or that or whatever. Club M4G1C is all about getting to know new people, forming and expanding groups of friends and having a laugh. And to aid this social aspect of the club i present the M4G1C Clubhouse:

The Clubhouse has 3 distinct sections, to accommodate all your needs so lets find out a little more about them 

Dancefloor;

The danefloor has a split level design (luckly home physics prevents to tripping and breaking a leg or something ), 2 platforms in the corner for the pro dancers , Seating around the dancefloor for those who are all danced out, and a generic party feel that should work for any type of party 

The Gaming Area

Tha gaming area features a larger group seating area around a pool table, a dart board and a couple of Namco cabinets for those that can use them, unfortunately Audi were a bit lazy so the football table is non interactive, but it fitted the look i was going for 

The Chillout Area

Ever want to just curl up in a corner and chill? now you can with a hottub, 3 seater beanbag and the warmth of fire lantrens all surrounded by a tropical setting. (No Skinny Dipping in the hottub!)
